Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I am purchasing my friend's 1998 eclipse this week. Any information you may have about this car, any mods that can be done or any kind of problems you have experienced, please let me know. I have no knowledge about mitsubishi so please enlighten me.

Just spend some time on here reading about stuff. You could write a book answering all the things you mentioned in your post. Just look through whatever section you're interested in like turbos, performance, whatever and you'll pick stuff up pretty quick.
