Default Buying an elipse..

Hey guys, couple of questions...im new to mitsubishi's but not new to cars..anyways im looking into a 99 eclipse RS with 80 K on the clock, for around $5500 what should i look out for with these cars? what motors are better than others? any inherent probs with certain motors? or trannys? the cars mainly just to get me from a-b for right now, but i wouldnt mind putting some money into it later on...thanks guys

that price is a total rip off. There is no way i would pay more than 4k for that car.

really? i would rather have a turbo 2g and would REALLY love to have an AWD one but seems to be the nicest DSM around without being molested...ill post a link http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

There is a local guy near me in Pa who builts 2g awd turbos and sells them for 6k. If your interested I can get you links of some.

there in lies the problem, i have to buy one from a dealer, i need a good MPG car thats reliable (current vehicle is a dodge 2500 crew cab) and i dont have 6K of cash sitting unfortunately.. does he do buy here pay here
