Default car dies when cluch is disengaged to stop

So im looking to buy a 1999 GSX. Theres a problem though. When you come to a stop and push the clutch in it dies. It only does it when coming to a stop though. The guy that has it now says it doesnt have a line running to the intake from the BOV. Could this be true?? What other things are possibly causing??

are you talking about the recir. tube from the BOV to the intake? if so you can look right at it and see its on top the intake. its a cheap fix. i would buy it and fix it. but thats me.

yeah thats whats missing but I didnt think that would cause it to die when you come to a stop. Could that cause it to die?

No just when coming to a stop. It runs fine when you downshift. It will idle fine. The only time it does it is when your slowing down to a stop. My friend that has a gst says it could be a sensor but I thought if it was that then it wouldnt idle right either. Thannks for the help.

Yes, recirculate the damn BOV and then reset the ECU and that will end your problem.

However... put the key in the ignition when u do that.. because just removing it for 10 sec.. there is still power in the system. In order to drain all of it you need the key in there.
