car idling at 20 rpms?? sputtering during throttle
I have a 1995 eclipse GS-T and recently my car will randomly start running weird. It will idle down at what looks like 0-20 rpm's but it won't stall and when you go to take off or give it WOT it will sputter and take forever to gain mph. If I slam the throttle and hold it the rpm's will sputter and then just fly up and then the cars fine for 3-4 hours and then it will do it again. Is my butterfly getting stuck closed? Its throwing the MAF sensor code but it will only throw if I don't slam the gas and clear the problem. So i'm guessing that its only throwing the MAF sensor code because the MAF sensor is getting starved of air. Its quite odd I boosted 14 psi all day today driving around without a problem then on the way home it acted up. I slammed the gas and its been fine since. Any ideas guys?

Its rare that it happens but its definitely something that didn't just go away or fix itself. I'm just gonna buy a 1g throttle body and port my intake mani, turbo, o2 housing, and exhaust mani at the same time. Problem solved. Thanks guys.
