To answer silvercoupe97's question: I had no work done on my car before this started up. The last thing done on my car was an oil change last month.
To answer spinz4's question: My car is a 1996 Eclipse GSX AWD 2.0L
Great news...
My car starts now although I haven't replaced any parts. During troubleshooting (with everyone's help from this forum), before reinstalling every part that I removed to test, I made sure that each part and their connectorsare cleaned. Maybe the parts (starter, ignition coil, power transistor) just didn't make good contact with the wiring harnesses.
Unfortunately, althoughmy carstarts, it is unable to hold idle speed. The engine dies as soon as I release the clutch. This is exactly what PepBoys described before they told me to take my car back.
I'll continue towork on this and post any updates... I'd appreciate any other inputs you may have.

I made an attempt to locate and remove the CAM sensor. Sure enough I'd have to remove the timing belt off to get to it. At this point, I dedided to bring it to the dealer to get it fixed (in case it's not the CAM sensor)..
According to the dealer, it was the CAM sensor. And yes, the timing belt has to come off. Well, at least I tried before having the dealer charge me an arm and a leg for this. (ouch!)
Thanks to everyone in this post. I really learned a lot in troubleshooting my eclipse.
