I bought the car 3 days ago and it started fine and everything when i bought it, then once i drove it up to a little bit colder weather in northern California it started idling wierd kinda sounds like a miss but isnt missing when im driving so im guessing its just idling low but now last night i let my turbo cool down and i shut off the car and the fuel filter seemed to be running way to long now today the car trys to start and the battery is fine but it just wont start and the fuel filter acts like it isnt giving any gas to it. mabey it could be fuel filter no idea thanks

 

Try the fuel pump not the filter. Especially if you heard the fuel pump when you shut it off. You shouldn't be able to hear the pump at all. Also might want to change the inline filter as well.

 

i replaced my fuel filter but now it still doesnt start and i dont even hear my fuel pump running now.
