I am porting the exhaust manifold right now, I was wondering about the tall center divider, do people tipically grind it down or what?

 

im assuming you talking about the part, that if your looking at the center bottom outlet where the turbo bolts up too, you see right in the center? then yea man, grind away... the idea of porting to open up as much room in the piece to get as much flow as possible... so yea definitely go ahead and port that part

 

People prefer to "knife edge" it.Meaning smooth it out, but leave it there. But the guy on VFAQjust got rid of it, so I think it'll work either way.
