i have Iridium's on my GST and it idles better than the stockers that were in it, but i ordered them from denso. it could be a bad set of them too, that could happen too.

Well what can i say. It works for some and not for others. I think it is very bran dependant.

98eclipse are you running NGK Iridiums?

Yes i have seem this many times.

Yeah, I've heard folks running the IRs. I've just never heard of folks going wrong withe the NGK 6ESs or NGK 7ESs. IMO, if the forumla works well, why change it? Different brands have already been tried on this old 4g63 motor and everytime, folks go back to the tried and true NGKs like the stock replacements or the one step colder (for those that need it).

what is the number on the plugs you bought? on a turbo'd car you want to have a slightly colder plug, so make sure you didnt get the plug from the rs/gs.

is this whole bosch issue only for turbo cars? cause i got bosch plugs in my 3g and it runs just fine (for a 3g lol) cause like sebba said, bosch sucks ***.. ive heard this elsewhere too

I had ngk irdium in mine and at high rpm it was hesitating a little. Changed to the reg ngk and problem gone. .
