check engine code PO100 HELP!!!

Default check engine code PO100 HELP!!!

i havea 96 eclipse gsx and my check engine light came on so i went to advanced auto to find out what it was and they said it was code PO100 which is Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction so what does that mean is wrong with me car it came on about 2 weeks ago first i had a boost leak then the light came on then my girl ripped out the safc2and broke it and ****ed the car up more last weekend i installed a full FMIC but i dont know if it fixed the boost leak because the car drives fine untill you get to about 4-5 rpm then it starts to bog down and spit out lots of black smoke so this is whats all wrong with my car so if you have any suggestions or comments or ideas please let me know thank you

sup bro.. the black smoke is because your car is running too rich. That is also why it is bogging down. Definately because she ripped your AFC out. You need to get that back on there to lean out your a/f mixture. As far as the code. Its referring to your MAF sensor. Check the harness for cracks and frayed wires and also get a haynes manual and a multimeter and go through their procedure to check the maf sensor. Theres no point in getting a new one if its still within range.
