Default Clutch acting funny when it's cold

Now that North Carolina has finally decided to start getting cold my clutch is acting funny. Last time we had a cold snap the clutch would sink to the floor and it very difficult to change gears. I'd had trouble with this before and changed out the clutch slave cylinder, problem solved or so I thought. Now that it has gotten cold again it has started giving me the same problem. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what else it might be?

It's a 420a engine by the way, I'm not sure what the code is for the transmission (97 Eclipse RS)

Does it do this when the motor is warmed up too? What type of fluids do you use in the clutch system and the tranny?

Today when I attempted to drive it the clutch response stayed the same even after the engine warmed up. Right now there is DOT 3 brake fluid in the clutch reservoir. Someone mentioned the clutch master cylinder, does anyone know how much of a b***h this will be to change out?

its not a pain at all to change. you just gotta try your hardest not to get any bubbles in the lines, if you do then you gotta bleed it out. which is not that hard but requires 2 people to do

EDIDT: actually i would reccommend bleeding it out afterwards anyway. better safe then sorry

I just assume that I'm going to have to bleed it. At the risk of asking for too much do you know about how much the master cylinder will cost? I paid about $55 for the slave cylinder

Yeah, anytime you open the lines, you're going to have to bleed it. There's just no way around that.
