Default Clutch Feel

I am still new to driving standard. With a new clutch install and lines al bleed. Where is the clutch suppose to disengage and engage. Pedal all the way down, 1/4 way down, 1/2 way down, 3/4 way down?...

Here's what RRE says...
You want a little free play off the floor before the clutch begins to grab. You also will need a little free play at the top of the pedal travel.
Picture a half a pie. Mark it in 1/4 increments. You should have 4 quarters now. According to RRE, you should have 1/4 of free play at the top and bottom. Everything in between is good for engagement and disengagement. Man, I hope that makes sense, lol.
Oh yeah, since it's a new clutch, make sure to adjust the pedal...as I see that you're doing, lol...sorry, it's late.

Ok im not going to give you a tech article... when i installed the 2100 on the eclipse it would engage really low down...

Thanks.. yah.. just need to find a nice super easy step by step article on pedal adjustment. I read the Team Rip article and wasn't able to follow. Sad... [&o]

its not that hard to do, there is a nut behind the pedal, all you have to do is disconnect the pedal from the shaft and spin that nut to whereever you want it
