Default Clutch Question

Hey guys i need some advice. I was street racing last weekend and my stock clutch started slipping on my 97 gst. I wanted to ask you guys what is the best performance clutch for the money? I street race about every weekend and i want something thats going to hold up. My car has 75,000 miles on it and i drive it daily. My budget is around 350$. I have around 240hp right now and i plan on getting around 300hp before im done with it, so i want something that will take the load. Thanks

I agree I'd put a stage II in for now and just start a fund for a true race clutch later on LOL.

ACT 2600, you can find it with street disc and throwout bearing for $380. Thats cheaper than a new stock one and is the best clutch out there for a 2g. Install will be around $200-300 no matter what clutch you get tho unless you can do it yourself. Dont attempt it if youre not sure...

Yeah the replacing of the clutch is the expensive part. The parts are fairly cheap. The labor is where they kill you and it's MUCH easier to do a clutch (I think at least) with a lift. (If you're military you can use the hobby shop to do it if you KNOW what you're doing).
