I posted this over in another area, but thought I might find better help here. I've been combing car lots for a few years trying to decide on what color to paint a car I'm restoring. I've finally found it, but I'm seeing the color called by different names, and I was hoping that you all could help. The color I've decided on was from a Mitsubishi dealership in Sioux Falls, SD. I bellieve it was either a 2003/4 Eclipse or Galante, and I think the salesman told me it was Ultra Red Pearl. I've looked up this color and it has a code of P06. I've heard some people refer to the same color as Patriot Red Pearl. Is there a difference? I live in the sticks and don't have a Mitsubishi dealer close enough to check for myself. Thanks for the help.

 

That's the Deep Red Pearl Code is P06/PRS

I'm not so sure about the Patriot but if you saw it on a Mitsubishi, the above code is what it was. Dodge also uses it.

 

Mine also has that paint code, Eclipse 2003 P06 & it's the Ultra Red Pearl, I've had some made up, it has that nice metallic look in the sun & really if you have the paint code that is all that matters, & you will get that color. Hope it went good for ya.... And for what it matters these paint chips aren't showing the metallic very well....
