Default Is converting it worth it?

Simple ? and i need answer's asap. Is converting my car to a 5spd worth it? my tranny blew and ive got 300$ more left to pay on it till its fixed and still a automatic. Now if i pay 400$ more I can have my car converted into a 5spd ( 95 tsi fwd). Is it worth the extra month long wait and will it be that more fun. I really like sticks or should i jsut fix it then go buy a car that is already stick? If so im looking a honda prelude vtec 5spd. let me know

no car is really worth it, i did it once and it wasn't worth it at all. might as well get it the way it comes from the factory. Why give yourself more headache's than possible?

I saw a guy in the chicago area that was doing it to a GSX.. He looked like he was making good progress on the swap. But for the average person, not worth it..

to do the conversion you basically need an entire donor car, in which case, just buy a new car. Like they said. And if your looking for support to buy a honda i dont think youll get it on a mitsu site . Especially when most of the people here love the 4g63.

It all depends really.... i dont think you should do the swap, mostly because you need someone who actually knows how to, plus is more cheaper and reliable to get a new ride than to do this...
If youre looking for a car that youre gonna drive daily, dont consider this kind of swaps haha, itll only bring you headaches later on
