Crooked Steering Wheel
Long story shot did alot of work Tuesday prolly got lazy on the alignment went home and my steering wheel is a lil to the left. Got some rest did it again next day before workstill off to the left. Today I had time to take my time to do the alignment set it in the green at 0.00 degrees. Redid the caster/cambersweepand everything was off 43-45 degrees. Did it again. Had two other people check if my steering wheel was straight and locked down. I did the caster/camber sweep with the car running with me in it turning the wheel left to right. Pulled the pins out of the plates, had the E-brake on and even wheel ***** in the rear. Set it all green again!!! Pulled off the lift drove around the shop guess what!!! yup steering wheel is to the left. Two other techs jumped in said $50 if they can get it to align, im prolly doing something wrong,I gave them the keys. After all they did steering wheel still left!!
They suggested its either my poerwsteering rack, or because one of the techs dropped the sensors that might be causing the problem. The car drives straight but the wheels turned a lil to the left. Im hoping that its just a bad sensor. Anythoughts or suggestions?
PARTS REPLACED TUESDAY- Both Inner and outer Tie rods,Right Front CV axle, both CV axle seals, Sturts and bushings all the way around, Emergency Brake shoes (Drum in hat design), Pads and Rotors all the way around, Rear wheel bearings, rear o2 sensor, upgrade to 2 piston GSX caliper. I just have to replace my valve cover gasket next.
Mommy and Daddy buying andfixing yourcar is one thing. Buying your car and paying someone to fix your car is another. Researching, buying your own car, buying and put on you own parts makes you change your driving habits all together

Its a Hunter Machine cant remember the last time it was calibrated sometime in May probably?
I probably messed up my steering rack. Inner tie rod was bad on the driverside was bad for sometime found out in July, causing the wheel to shake and i noticed my wheel was a little to the left back in august. Went on a 6 hour trip with that part bad sometime around that month my Powersteering pump went. The shaft that connects the pumpto the Pulley snapped.
Im thinking about going to Firestone and getting that Lifetime Alignment deal. I still need to put and Ingalls Camber kit on this car so I can adjust the rear.
