turn pop is getting worse and my mechanic said its not the cv joints its the actual ummm....I forgot the name of it but its the whole damn front thing. I don't think hes lying because ive known him for a while and not only that my front end seems way off when i turn it left and right. Whats the name of it and where can i get one for a good price? the estimate of the part is I think $700

Don't think its the bearing. Sounds more like the steering rack. But whenever I turn either way it pops on the passenger side. Also whe I race from a roll my car pulls pretty good but anyways it pops when it pulls as well. Ideas?
