Default damn check engine light

O.k. no major mods on my 97 eclipse GST. Check engine light does'nt wanna shut off. I've gone to autozone, CODE P0505-Idle control Valve - replaced twice now, once when i first purchased it and just recently. Still the damn thing keeps lighting up, i've pulled the negative as well, but that reset it for a couple of days, then the light comes back on again. I'm getting tired of disconnecting the battery every other day, anybody got any suggestions?

I hav'nt tried running the code again but i'm sure it'll pull up as P0505 again. Any help???

Do you experience any idle issues? It could be a few things. Try cleaning out your Throttle body and also check the throttle cable that everything looks correct there. The next thing would be the Throttle position sensor. Oh yea and also check the harness and wires to the IAC

i dont have any idle issues now, but about a2 month ago i did and replace the cam shaft & crank shaft positioning sensor. BUT i do remember back in repair shop receipt back in 2004 mechanic took it in because of the check engine light andengine was idling rough - mechanics found air temperature reading abnormal/ found excessive resistance at IAT circuit at ECU connector due to faulty connection. He charged me 368 bucks to reposition connector and change out some bad spark plugs and wires.

could this be the same issue? I'll check IAT and IAC connections.
