so im always extra careful with locking my car when i get out and checking the handle to make sure its locked. well this time when i pulled it, one of the plastic latches broke on the handle and the door does not open so i have to replace it. question is, what handles fit for a '99. is it just the 97 through 99 or the 95s too, or even the talons?

 

Im pretty sure its any 95-99 eclipse/talon

but i could be wrong

It's 95-97. I'm positive, because the same happened to me. And a friend of mine has a spare handle from his 94 eclipse RS, and it wouldn't fit my 99 GS. So I had to get one from Ebay. They are cheap, I got mine for $12 shipped. ($7.99 part+4 shipping)

 

yea thats what i ended up doing, buying from ebay, same price, and changed it myself

 

I had to change mine and it was a vicious pain in the ***. If it ever breaks again I swear I may just buy a new door.
