Default DSMlink

Hey guys, I was reading on this other forum about the DSMlink, but I still wasnt getting it. What exactly does it do? What do you need in order to install it? Also, they were saying you can tune your car with it somehow? Can someone explain this to me?

Not quite the answer I was looking for. I was wandering if any of you guys had one? Do you need to purchase anything else along with this?

What you need is a laptop and the software and a few cables. lol The way you say it... you make it sound like DSMLink is used for something other than tuning lol.... thats pretty much all its used for lol. Its much more complicated than the SAFC II but it has more features and you can get more power out of your engine with it.

Thanks Sebba, that was exactly what I was wanting someone to answer me. Because I already bought the Big 16G, and now I am working on a tuning device(s). But thanks man, appreciate it.

i thought you had to have the eprom ecu that comes in the 95's to make it work. plus what is an safc,$300+? you can get dsm link for around $500. get someone that has a laptop,no biggie.thats what im gonna run with, safc's are ok but i know alot of people who hate them.

to me if you only have the 16g upgrade then the dsmlink is way overkill. You need to be more expeirienced with tuning to be able to use it and with the safc it is really simple to use. To be honest if i was to get something that advanced there are better stuff out there other than the dsmlink.
