Eclipse RS Modifications

i just got my 97 eclipse rs. i would like to know of any modification i can put on to increase the power and performance of the car without putting the engine into danger.

there really isnt much you can do to it that will increase performance. Maybe an intake and exhaust but past that you cant do much. even those wont gain you anything.

gs are for gas mileage and dependability they were never meant to be fast but ya intake and exhaust is about it really :/ unless you wanna start spending a lot of money and even then it probably wont happen.
