Default Eclipse Start's but can't rev, :(

Hi, my 99 Eclipse GS Spyder, isn't running well, I used some engine degreaser, and i had to clean it up lightly with some water with the engine off, after cleaning and drying, the eclipse can start, but if I try to rev, even a little bit, the engine hesitates a lot and if I rev more, it just dies,

I tried opening the throttle body and air filter to let any stuck water evaporate, I pulled the spark wires off to let any water evaporate, I also sprayed a little wd40 into the plug connectors to drive out any water, also tried pulling tps sensor connector to see if it would run better, nothing has worked.

It is the 2.4L 16 valve motor sohc

Will have a video up soon,

I know i'm a noob for getting water on the engine, but what can I do about it,

it hesitates at idle a little bit, but the idle is not high, the hesitation gets intense if i try to rev

timing not advancing, my first suspicion.
vacuum leaks or sensor issue.
