Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0 GT 1997. 4k Rev problem
Hello,
i have a problem on my Eclipse 1997. 2.0 16V non turbo.
The car wont go over 4k RPM when still and when driving.
The check engine light is on.
I have changed the lambda sonde (O2 sensor), air intake sensor, spark plugs, coils, fuel filter and air filter.
So it would be a lot of help if someone could suggest me what could be the problem.
here is the video of the problem:
Thank you

Thinking about this a bit more... I can't think of any reason spark would fail only at 4k and you replaced most of that system anyway.
It's probably fuel related if I had to guess based on pretty much no information (dirty injectors, lack of fuel pressure, ECU rev limiter)...
If you have unlimited money I would change the fuel pump, the injectors and the ECU next otherwise I'd check the fuel pressure at the rails (at idle and WOT) and get that code and hopefully we can come up with a more informed diagnosis.
If you don't have a scan tool (I recommend you get one, they are like $10 on eBay if you have a smartphone) most auto-parts places will scan your car for free.
Also, Did you check your gas pedal is free of obstructions and check the throttle cable?
