I have a 1995 eclipse 2.0 dohc non turbo , i bought it and had been sitting about a year i finally got it cranked only for a few minutes and then it shut off and now will not even try to crank, i put new plugs new coil new fuel pump it is firing and gas is going all the way to fuel rail but will not even act like it wants to crank, is crank sensor bad or cam sensor or ecm, all 4 plugs are firing and the timming is lined up perfect on cams, i am lost on this one.

 

so you turn the key and nothing??

 

oh no it will turn over and over but will not even act like it wants to fire but all plugs are firing even sprayed starting fluid in intake and nothing

 

uh, this happed to my friends 95 tsi and he said there is an oil pressure switch somewhere and he said it was bad and when he put a new one in, it started right up. just from what im hearing, because his did the same thing, even sprayed started fluidd and kicked over for a second and died, so maybe the same problem.

No luck with the oil pressure switch, this one has really puzzled me but when it is all over i am sure it will be something simple , anyone has any ideas please let me know,

could it be your spark plug wires not connected to the coil pack right???

 

I checked wires they are all connected right , I think i will get me a new crank senor and cam sensor and try that , i will let you know how that turns out, thanks for all the help.
