EGR
ok guys, still working on my eclipse gst. we replace the head gasket now the car wont run right. timing is dead on. while doing some reading i found that an egr valve could be causing my car to shut down. heres what happens the longer the car runs the less likely it shuts off. when it starts cold it goes to 2700 rpm then to 1000,then sputters to 100ish then starts all over again, back to 2000ish and eventually it diesbut as i let it warm up and do it it will bounce back up to about 900 rpm witch is normal. could this b a faulty egr valve giving me 4 months of pain?

RE: EGR
possibly. if your egr valves going bad it can cause all kinds of weird stuff to happen. i broke mine last year and i had to tape it till i got a new one lol. it wouldnt let my car run at all even if i gave it gas. it would just stall

RE: EGR
mine did something simularto what your car is doing. i thought it was the ISC but in the end i had to mess with my BISS....you might want to try messing with that, just make sure you count the turns if it doesnt help so you can put it back to how it was
