This is the end...
i never really liked the feel of the car anyway
visibility aint so great
the way you sit in it doesnt feel right
even though its not actually very heavy, it feels like it
and even when i replace the block, stuff will still break. Its a dsm.

That's any car man. They all break it just a matter of WHAT tends to break. There is NO car out there that doesn't have issues if it's older. We buy the older cars because we like the styles, line, power plants. Not because they're incredibly reliable. If you want something that isn't going to break then get a new car right off the lot. I'm going to stick with my old Conquest myself though. I'll fix the problems one by one and when I'm done I'll have a fairly good car.
No im switching out the block this week. then im just going to sell it. and to sang, ive never really liked how the car feels in general. I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago, but way too much money went into fixing it when I FIRST GOT IT, so i figured i should keep it, but im really sick of this crap.
Oh it's understandable. You fought the good fight but the car had bigger weapons. Some people would figure after all the crap they'd gone through to this point it's not much more till it's almost a new car. Like I said mine is in pretty much the same position but I'm keepin her and fixing one problem at a time (Think about it when I first got the 'quest it took a Throttle body rebuild, Jet valve elimination, Valve cover gasket, radio, battery, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, and tires. Then interior work and full cleaning turbo timer, and vaccuum lines, then I started a BS elimination, timing chain replacement, oil pan gasket, another valve cover gasket, timing cover gasket, and oil pump. While in the midst of THAT work I ended up doing a water pump, and cleaning and painting a bunch of parts. Now that I'm almost done there I find the turbo seals have gone south and I need a new one to get her back on the road again.). So I know EXACTLY how you feel Jeff but I'm not going to give mine up. She's my baby and I'm ALMOST done with damn near anything that could need replaced on my engine. Then I'll be working on the drivetrain (I replaced a CV boot but I believe the joint is clicking so I need to go ahead and replace the whole half shaft).
