has anyone here completed the "1g in a 2g" engine swap in an eclipse? i have been reading a lot of websites and stuff, but i wanted an opinion from someone who has actually completed the swap. [sm=guilty.gif]
I have an idea of the parts that are needed off the 1g cars and the parts to keep from the 2g.. but what i am wondering is.. i have a 91 gs (blew up the engine.. story for another time) and the engine i bought for it was gs-t.. but now i wanna put that 1g gs-t engine in the 97 gs-t.. can i use parts off my gs since it is already tore apart? or should i try to find the parts off a 1g gs-t?? any help or comments would be greatly appreciated =)
