WHat would you guys prefer? An EVO or a 2g Eclipse..NOw i know stock for stock..most would pick the EVO but...Lets say if you get the Eclipse, you get 2000 dollars to spend on what ever you want..what would you pick??

 

Well to me there is no comparison in looks. Definetly the eclipse, but the evo isn't bad looking either.

 

EVO stock still much faster than Eclipse 2G with bolt ons.

EVOs run mid to low 13s the 06 IX runs high 12s stock.

And IMO the EVO is a better looking car than the Eclipse. Two things to keep in mind EVO holds its value high 2gs are dirt cheap and resale is horrible. and 2nd is when you go out for a drive everybody and there grandmother has a DSM these days EVOs are still far and few between, Id rather have the car that is rare than one that is parked on every block

 

lol yea..so rare that someone would take it lol..but ..yea...i've always loved how the EVO looks..many people say its too plane..I don't know why but i just love how it looks..Plus its handling and speed....gotta love it..HEY EMONZ...Is the turbo lag on your EVO as bad as people say? I've herd people sayin EVO's have bad TUrbo lag, and then take off at like 3000 RPMS ..

 

3000RPM lag is NOTHING at all. The turbo spools faster than most turbo cars that are made for speed. NESpeeds RX7 has smaller Turbos and they dont spool till like 5k

 

i'll take your word for it ...surprizing...though about the turbo..i want an EVO so bad.. lol

you want to see videos I have them and there is no evidence of lag when the car is going. Anyone who tries starting a race under 3000RPMs doesnt know how to drive anyway. Full boost comes around 3 but The car has very good spool time. look at the 900HP EVO he doesnt hit full boost untill 6200 RPMs and the car runs low low 9s
