wow that sux i always though you could put an evo head on an eclipse 4g63 engine...didnt know there was that much of a difference...ok so would a 4g63tb engine fit in a 4g63ta engine bay?? would the mounts line up??

 

Maybe... but obviously the transmission wouldnt. Its on the opposite side. I dont think a conversion to put that motor in a 2g is worthwhile...

 

no i agree it definately doesnt seem to be so...oh well theres not a whole lot of a difference anyway other than the taller head...so a 4g63ta head would fit a 4g64 though right??

swapping fromt he DSM 4g to the EVO 4g is just as bad asswapping a 4g into a 420a... the cost is just not worth it when you can just upgrade the cams and tune the car and be right there w/ the EVO head... (not exactly but i'm just saying that it's cheaper to mod the car up to the HP of an EVO than it is to drop an EVO engine into a DSM)

lol i didnt know the swap would be that bad lol ok so what kind of cams are the evos running...and how much different is the tune job on the evo than the eclipse?? j/w b/c im looking at a 95 gst anyway so the info im getting for my boy is gonna help me too...kinda anyway lol...
