Default evo III and lower IC pipe problem

This is my situation....I just bought the evo III turbo. After about 3 hours of installation. I find that the install kit for the 2g only comes with a j pipe. I had a hard pipe coming from my t28 to the sidemount. Because its hard, and the way the j pipe comes off. It dosen't work. So I think I have to find a stock lower ic pipe. Also I have on order a greddy frount mount ic. and the greddy upper and lower piping. Im woundering am I going to have the same problem but worse. Any suggestions? Please help.

Get the 90 degree pipe and installation stuff. Measure your current J pipe, if it is 2.25" then you will have to get a reducer coupler becuase the 90 degree pipe is 2.5"

no, you really need that fmic in order to run the e316g turbo... the j pipe will then come off the turbo and aim for towards the driver side wheel, the fmic piping should come to it, so you should be fine... also what other mods do you have done to the car? any fuel or exhaust stuff??

yea the 16g just has to much power to run on the stock smic... and i dunno what ur other mods are but you need to have an upgraded fuel system, exhaust, etc.

Right now I dont really have any other serious mods. I do have on the way Evo III manifold, apexi 3" downpipe, apexi catback oh and the Evo III 02 housing. And the Greddy FMIC. All this should be here within the week. I need to go fuel I know. I was thinking walbro 255 or should I get the 190? and I was thinking FIC 650cc ingectors. What kind of regulator and fuel rail should I go with? dsmparts.com

i say go with the 190 pump. those injectors should b cool. i like rc's better but they work. you dont really need a new fuel rail or a pressure regularot unless you really feel the need. i have an AEM fule rail on mine more for looks then anything they arnt really need thought.

i disagree... i think you should go with the 255 fuel pump, there's not much price difference, and that way you'll just havethat much more if you ever decide to go bigger
