well thats what it does. its not random, its engineering. eshaust gas is hotter closer to the turbo, so pipe diameter isnt as criotical since it wil travel faster. as the gases get closer to the end of the exhaust, they are cooler in temp, travel slower, and a progressively larger diameter pipe helps them to continue through
would you like to explain how expanding the diameter makes something move faster....LOL I won't disagree that wider diameter makes better flow, but not to speed it up.

if you read carefully i never said a larger pipe helps them travel faster, i said as the exhaust temp lowers, they travel SLOWER, and that the larger diameter helps it travel through, NOT travel through faster

I've got a GReddy exhaust. It sounds really nice. It's not loud at all, very suttle, but when reved it makes it's point.

I'd have to say GReddy or Apexi are my fav. I want the Apexi N1. mmmmm. I LOVE the look of that 4.5" tip slanted out the back.

oh sorry about that, i thought at the end it said to make it go fast. My bad. [&o]

i duno how it would sound on a turbo'd engine but i have the exhaust offered by HAHN Racecraft, it's 3.5' tubing from the cat back w/ a 4.5' tip, also used OBX Racing headers, downpipe and high flow cat. VERY freeflowing and sounds great from idle to redline.

HOLYYYY CRAAPPPP 3.5 inch exhaust on a N\A car is rediculous that is robbing power from you. Turbo guys cant even do that unless they are 450HP or so... that is wayyyyyy to big

are you positive its not 2.5 inch... because no one makes 3.5 for an N\A car unless the company is making it with intentions of you buying there turbo kit
