first of all my 98 eclipse gs is having problems with idleing and throttle. i think it might be my trottle poisition sensor but im not positive, when ever i work the car a little bit the throttle sticks at like 4 Grand even when the car is in neutral so i have to shut the car off and start it back up while driving because thats the only way it will run normal again that happened 3 times now. plus it is misfiring in cylinder 1 which i already changed the plugs and wires and i dont think its my coils has any1 had this problem b4 besides eclipse4ever who had to put a whole new engine in his ride. one more question regaurding rims, chrome or racing? 17" or 18"??????

 

LOL, so your car doesn't run right but you're doing rims? No, I'm just kidding. As for the sticking throttle have you tried removing the throttle body and cleaning it, or at least removing the intake tubing and cleaning what you can get at from there? The only way the TPS would be causing that is if it was gunked up or something, that only tells the ECU what position the throttle is at, it has no contorl over holding it open.
