You can't rotate the FMIC any to get it into a better spot? Perhaps tilt the bottom back and lean it towards the ground? It's all a matter of figuring out the best positioning and then mounting it there. You should be able to get it to work though...

39in long???? thats huge. and what kinda car? 1g's are easier to fit, 2g's have more restrictions, especially with thickness. sounds like you'd have to relocate the radiator to get a 4in core into a 2g

thats what i was going to say. I think you are going to have some custom work ahead of you is you want to get that to fit in there.

Well its wrong......If is is even 4" thick, and at least 24"+ in length, then it is over kill for a stock turbo dsm. You are better off selling it and getting a FMIC kit for a DSM, trust me.

The FMIC for my 7 is 32X12X4, which is supporting a 42R......so a little t25 or 14b doesnt need a intercooler that big.

The evo guy above me is right. That will cause quite a bit of pressure drop for a lil t25 or 14b. I had my fmic on my t25 and it helped performance but I was 30x10x2.5 with 2.5" inlet/outlet. 39" long is pretty damn long. The 95-96 bumper is the hardest bumper to fit fmics on, so try a 97-99, and who cares if you have some pipes sticking out the sides :-P

You will want to get a bigger turbo for that fmic though, go with a hahn super 16g, or better yet a 20g, or a gt35r, or a gt42r....okay now I'm just daydreaming lol
