How much gas mileage do you lose when you upgrade to the 16G and run higher PSI at the average psi setting? Also, when you do get the 16g and all the injectors and fuel pump and everything to let you run higher psi, what psi would be best?

i have a 16g with 660 injectors and can tune my car to get better mileage than stock. i average 24mpg 50/50 city/highway, if i baby it highway only i have gotten 33mpg before on a trip from san diego to los angeles.

what does average setting mean?

what do you mean what psi would be best? depends on gas grade, injector size, timing advance, tuning, turbo efficiency, and what your definition of 'best' is

im at 22psi, but it would probably be more efficient at 20psi and i wouldnt have to drown my engine with as much fuel. the problem i have is, all i am tuning with in an safc so unless i run 22psi the ecu does not see enough air flow, it advances the timing too far, and i knock. running 22psi with 660s is the only way to keep the ecu on the highest airflow map and keep timing down

DSMtalon what octane fuel you running? Using a higher MIGHT take that knock out and let you play in the advanced timing...

if you have to ask about gas mileage then you can't afford a 16g swap. Gas mileage should be the last thing to worry about.
