I have a 96 eclipse spyder gs and have a problem with a gas smell in the car while driving. when i park the car there is a strong odor of gas around the passenger side rear wheel by the gas filler door. Can anyone help me out on what may be causing this odor. Thanks.

I have looked under the car. there are no apperant gasoline leaks. car is parked in garage, ground under gas tank is dry.

 

Have u checked ur evap system or u can check ur vent hose just some ideas

 

im having the same problem with my 97 eclipse spyder. i have no idea what it is. if you figure it out please post why. thanx!
