Default GST Bogging and cutting out in high gears???

Hey guys I am hoping you can help me with some questions on my 97 Spyder GST. I just recently bought the car about 4 months ago and started doing the maint. to it that the original owner never did. I have put new rotors, brakes, brake lines, Calipers, master cylinder and Slave Cylinder. When I am accellorating in the car above 3000 RPM the car starts to bog and cut out. It was doing this really bad until I bought a fuel system cleaner and that seemed to help a little bit. But I am still not able to get into the gas very hard in higher gears. I was thinking of changing the spark plugs and wires to see if this will work. Any thoughts?

Thanks
