Default GST Spyder Suspension

So I've been shopping around for suspension for my 98 GST Spyder. What I've found is that its a pain to find any parts. I mean they have parts for the GST, GS etc, but they always have "EXC. GST SPYDER" everywhere!! A prime example is on Eibach's website for the Pro-Line Spring kit. Another example is for the strut bars on eBay - without fail they all say exc. GST Spyder. Now I've heard that you can buy any suspension mod for a GST and they will fit on a GST Spyder. Is this true? Any spyder owners out there that have done this before please reply with what you'll have done! Thanks.

The only thing I can imagine would be different would be rear strut bars... I would think you MAY not be ablt to get them for a spyder due to the top's setup...
