Default GSX O2 Sensor

Can u help?!! I have to replace the O2 sensor on the catalytic converter of my 96 GSX. I am also wanting to upgrade to a new downpipe. If i get a downpipe with a catalytic converter eliminator what is it goin to do to the car seeing that the 02 sensor will be GONE. Or, if i get a downpipe with a high flow cat what company would you recoment going with?

You will need to keep the O2 sensor in the same spot weather or not the converter is there. If the down pipe does not have a provision for an O2 sensor you will need to have a hole drilled in it and a sensor bung welded on so the sensor will screw in. you can purchase the bungs at Summit Racing for only a few bucks.

Random Technologies, Catco (sub-division of Magnaflow) are two companys that make great high flow cats if you decide to use one.

Got any more ?'s PM me
