Default Having some bad problems

Well on the night of my 18th birthday(tuesday night) it was wet out and i was sliding around...long story short, i hit a curb, ruined the drive shaft, and broke the spindle. Now i put ina new driveshaft(from a 92 talon/no ABS), and a spindle from a 97 eclipse. Its all put back together now, but the CV joint closer to the tranny is being stretched pretty far. I havent really moved the car or anything yet. I really dont know why its doing that.

And no i dont have pics...yet. I left my camera uploading cable at the grandparents house during christmas.

Is your issue the CV joint, Jeff? I don't think I follow. You replaced the driveshaft and spindle (which corner did you hit?) and now your CV joint is being stretched? That's the part I don't follow bro. Is it stretched with the wheel turned or while pointed straight or am I just not picturing it correctly, lol?

I say the last comment I made is what's going on, but I just want to make sure, lol.

okay nvm. I guess the shaft is actually a couple inches shorter than it should be. It clonked when driven, and was only driven about 10 feet before ripping the boot. I took it out, and compared it next to my old shaft, and its actually shorter.
Thats strange though because the driver side axle fit perfect when i swapped it with a 1g axle. Whaaaaatever...back to the junkyard tomorrow...
