Do you guys recommend me taking the head to the shop? Do you think its worth it? What would you guys do?

 

its worth having it checked and milled if it needs it - i'd rather pay some money and only have to do it once.

 

Thanks. Another question... what gaskets do you think i need to order, besides the head gasket? I only need the valve cover gasket (cause I am changing it anyway). But do i need to order any other gaskets?

 

i would get the topend gasket set and change them all while its apart.
about the time you dont the cam seals will start leaking & all that fun stuff.
remember do it right - do it once. half *** it your gonna have it apart every other day.

 

Do they sell the topend gasket set? Is there a set that i can buy?
