head rebuild problems.

RE: head rebuild problems.
Alright, I guess it WAS getting oil, but he heard a ticking that sounded like rods. hes used to working on chevys and things that get a lot more oil all the time, so he thought it wasnt pumping oil right, but he says he pulled out his code reader, and it gave him "cam sensor". So he took the head off last night and is working on it as soon as he gets home today. Hopefully a new cam sensor will solve the end of my problems.

The little holes that spray oil onto the cams (forgot the name of it sorry) might need to be cleaned out also. Good luck.

No he made absolutely sure. He made sure every single oil passage was clear. This guy is my dads friend...not some mechanic that just wants to get finished, and get paid.

RE: head rebuild problems.
Update:
Its alive. It runs good. good oil pressure etc...
But just my luck, MORE PROBLEMS
Now he has discovered an unrepairable problem in the radiator and that has to be ordered, and the alternator has to be rebuilt, because its not generating any power.
