Default help

well i just got a 98 gst and im having trouble with it. did a compression test to see if thats cool and the cylinders were around 135-150 at 7 cranks? is that good or bad? any advice/help is great. im new to mitsubishi so anything is appreciated

Anything under 143 in the service manual says it needs a rebuild

well it was jus rebuilt like it only has bout 600 miles on the motor and we did it at 7 cranks..does that make any difference?

that is low.. for the 2nd gen.and after a rebuild. the difference between each cylinder shouldn't be no more than 14 psi max. I just crank till i get a stable reading.

You want to crank it untill it stops moving. Sometimes that is 10 or more cranks. Just till it stabelizes
