if you check his post he was trying to hook up a stero with out knowing how, so its possible that he burnt them up.maybe along with some other stuff.

this is true.. after miss connecting, you could have blown a lot of different stuff at the same time

When you checked the fuses did you check for continuity with a multimeter or just visually inspect them? It's always best to double check the simple things first.

I just checked them visually, all of them were in order. I guess I will just go to a service and get it fixed as I most likely do not have the abilities to do it myself. How much do you think it would cost for a mechanic to fix it approximatelly?

Electrical there's really no way of telling unless they've dealt with something like this before and happen to know what it might be. In that case they may be able to quote you. If not who knows.
