So basically what i'm doing is hoping to wire in LED's underneath both driver and passenger glove box/seats so that it will act as footwell lighting. I'd like to hook it up in sync with the dome lights so when I open the doors, the lights are on with the Dome lights. At the same time, I would like to over ride the lights by having a switch installed that could turn JUST the LED's on, not the dome lights, while driving. Has anyone ever done so and how? I've attached a rough wiring schematic I did quickly (not used to car electrical, would be the first time). Any help would be awesome.
