Maybe I just don't get what you're saying. My car is an automatic. So unless you're talking about the transmission itself...

so. back to my original statement, have you checked or had checked, the quality and amount of oil in your gear box?

Clearly, yes. If you are possibly referring to power steering or any other fluid/oil a car takes. Yes to that as well
