I bought a 97 Eclipse RS & a few days later found this little cap next to my car , any ideas as to what it goes to ?? i'v notice it's leaking oil or brake fluid now.

On the cap it says ( - ) <---> (+) Flow Control.

Thats your flux capacitor flow adjustment cap. The more you want to flex the fabric of space time, the higher you turn it up.

Well if you don't figure it out, or no one knows, you can always go to your local mitsubishi dealership and ask the parts guy... I'm sure they might have some clue.

 

looks like the top that was on my boost controller and mine fell off just like that but you dont have a boost controller since your N\A

 

chances are its for your power stearing or something to that degree. If your leeking hydraulic fluid I would deff check that out before you drive any where... that could be the difference between stopping and hitting a tree.

 

If it says flow control then it's not the brake or clutch reseviors...

 

are you sure its even off your car? Just because it was sitting next to your car doesnt mean if came off of it. That could be any thing...did you wash your car, cause it could be off of the hose.

 

Whatever it is, it's NOT factory. Good Luck in finding a resolution.
