I need help. I was hooking up a capasiter for my stereo system and I think I fried a wire somewhere. My amp is screwed into the back of my seat (which is metal) so I think it is grounded to the seat, because when I unhooked the ground it still worked. Well when I hooked up my power wire to my amp it sparked from under my back seat and cut off my amp and stereo. My amp and stereo came back on but I lost power to my windows and sunroof. I checked every single fuse in my car and none of them were blown.....I have checked everthing, My car is in a million pieces! I need help, any ideas what I done to it? I had to rip of my door panels and put my windows up that way.......I dont know what to do! please help me someone

 

sounds to me like you fried some wiring inside but i have no idea how to fix it. i hate installing anything electrical if i dont have to i leave it to the pros but good luck man sorry hope u have ac its hot up where im at

 

pull your seats out, and lift the carpet and start looking at the wires.
Then pull off the door panels and check the harness.

 

I did, I pulled everything out. I looked at all the wires. I looked at all the fuses. Nothing looks burnt or blown or melted or black or anything. Could I have fried something in one of those circut board lookin things?

 

Not for anything... bit sometimes fuses dont look blown, but dont work. Try switching any? You may have blown all the relays.... THats an electrical disaster youre driving, btw.

 

Oh Im not driving right now. I switched all the fuses with fuses that I knew worked and the same thing with the relays. I dont know....
