anywaise im about to upgrade my turbo and many things in my car... i wonder where should i start first hum? will i would be appreciate if any of u would help me where to start and to make my car boost up more speed...thanks

 

depends what have u done to ur car so far and ur going to wanna start with maintenance like plugs wires fluid changes belt and pully replacements and that should keep u busy for a while!!

 

when i got my 99 gst I put an injen intake then a tsudo cat back. then greddy ic piping w/ type s bov and boost guage. next i want a dowpipe and o2 housing you can also gt some iridium plugs

A good place to start is some of the things mentioned above; intercooler piping and a good blow-off vavle, a good filter at least and intake if you want to, boost gauge. After that you can get a manual boost controller and that will give you a little bit more flexibility with the boost. Then if you want to go further you can upgrade the fuel system and the turbo if need be. Hope that helped and I didn't miss anything, oh yea, exhuast at any point.

 

If you want to get rid of any parts after you upgrade let me know I'm looking to put a turbo in mine eventually here soon and would appreciate any parts I can get a old of.

Not for me. 1ST upgrade for me is everything to do the turbo It's nice being able to tear it down and rebuild it not having to worry about having to drive it anytime soon. Also I'm kinda at a crossroads as to what I need to do. I don't know ow far the transformation went to taking this thing to a NT went. I know the ECU was changed but supposedly it is an upgraded ECU for a NT car. The tranny ECU was also upgraded I was told (I need to get in there and actually check that out) but will the NT ECO work in a turbo'd engine? I also don't know if the guy went so far as to change out the harness and o2 sensors completely. Hopefully not I'd rather NOT have to try to find a turbo harness for it. Also does anyone know for sure whether the '94 4G63 was a 6 or 7 bolt block?

 

you have 7bolt. 6bolts are older than april '92

 

hey Sanguinius if you are looking for some old 2g turbo parts I have my cat back off my 99 gst. its in good shape just let me know.

 

I'm lookin for the up front parts. The car I bought has a cat back already (Sweet lookin on at that I gottan look at it to find out EXACTLY what company but it's all black with a chrome tip and the yellow band behind the chrome) mostly I need headers to cat for the turbo and anything I can get a hold of engine wise (Head valves guides springs) as well as the intercooler and whatnot.
