Hey guys/girls i was just wondering besides turbo and nitrous oxide systems what are some upgrades that will give a good amount of horsepower to a Eclipse (not spyder) all i can find are turbos which give a great deal of h/p or filters and such that give 2 or 3 which is barely anything.....Thanks

 

For what generation? Since it's a nt you will probably just do the basics, like exhaust, headers, intake, cams and that type of stuff.

 

Really with out know what Gen. Eclipse you have and also what style it is hard to tell you what the best items to buy to increase you power.

Depending on what year your eclipse is, I would change the exhaust system if yours is stock. Put in a cold air intake. Check out the AEM V-2 (claims that it gives an extra 16 hp. Check out AEM's pulley kits and crank gears. Those should give you an extra 10 to 15 hp each.

 

ok all of the suggestions here are good but to get more hp (noticeable amount) rip out the motor. Find a macinest and mill head get hypo pistons crank cams rods. also get lighter valves spings guides. a new intake manifold wouldnt hurt either i perfer venom. also high flow fuel rail injectors and a new better fuel pump. and for a little boost dwon it to OBE1 or just chip it.
