RE: How Hard to remove 4g63 Engine
its not too difficult as long as you take the transmission out with it using an engine leveler.
Im guessing you have a fwd gst, so you have to take out the front shafts completely(dont just disconnect them),
label all the connectors you remove, write down what theyre for, and you should be good.

Removing the engine isnt too bad, i did my 96 eclipse spyder, with a friend and we only know the basics of the engine. it took us a few hours a day for a total of about 7 hours, including prep work prior to the removal(taking out almost all of the bolt ons and disconnecting the a/c). We didnt remove the axels either, but it was a pain in the ***!!! my problem is i need a guide to putting a 95 4g63-t. back into the spyder, can someone help me with a free step by step guide.

dont disconnect an AC line or you will really regret it. First of all, i think the chemicals in freon can kill you, and second, it costs a lottt of money to recharge it...if you LIVE! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ive had to do it before, and its not all that hard... well... fine... I had a friend of mine do it and I supplied the beer, lol... but it didnt take all that long. I remember the transmission (FWD TSi) being a pain... but the engine after that wasnt all that bad...
