I live in central NY where we get rain at least once a week, would CAI be a bad choise? Its for a 98 Eclipse GS, hence screen name, that I use as a daily driver.

 

you could get a water by-pass thingy if you wanna get the cai

 

a bypas valve completely defeats the purpose of having a CAI. i ran w/ a CAI for over 2 years running through rain, puddles etc etc and never had a problem what so ever but if you will be running through puddles 6" or deeper on a regular basis... i'd go with either a ram air intake or CAI w/ the bypas valve (if you wan the CAI look).
